Just a few reminders…

• Last Rehearsals… There is no dress rehearsal for the holiday show. Some classes may run their dances on the stage Saturday before the show begins. This makes it very important for all students to attend class Mon, Nov 28- Fri, Dec 2 as it will be their last rehearsal before we go to the stage. NOTE: We do have all regular classes on Monday, November 28 even though there is no school that day.

• Show information… The Holiday Benefit Show will begin promptly at 6pm at Saegertown High School. Doors to the auditorium will open at 5:30. Please do not enter before to save seats. Admittance to the show will be $3/adults and $1/students (5-18). Children under 5 are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door. There is no ticket presale. Proceeds of the show will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.

• Holiday show arrival times… ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas will be held on Saturday, December 3 at 6pm. Please plan to have your dancers arrive at the following times prepared to go. All Creative Movement, Preschool Ballet, Preschool Tumbling, A-Level and B-Level dancers should arrive by 5:30pm. All C-Level and D-Level dancers should arrive by 5:00pm.

• Costume Requirements… All parts of the costume Miss Heather is providing will be given to the students either the week of Nov 28-Dec 2 or at the show
-Creative Movement & Preschool Ballet… pair of pajamas, hair pulled back, socks/bare feet/footed pjs *pjs do not have to be holiday themed
-Kinderdance…wear a leotard, white tights, ballet shoes and hair pulled back
-Tumbling A & B…a pair of black pants (dance/yoga/sweat pants are fine), bare feet, and hair appropriate for tumbling
-Ballet A, Ballet B & Jazz A…black leotard (long sleeve, short sleeve or tank style), black tights and either jazz shoes or ballet shoes
-Modern A & Hip Hop A… plain white top (tank, t-shirt, long sleeves are fine), black pants (dance/yoga/sweat pants are fine), and bare feet
-Ballet C…black leotard (tank, short sleeve or long sleeve) and nude tights or pantyhose and ballet shoes
-Tap C… nude tights and tap shoes
-Tap D… nude tights, bottoms for under skirt (leotard, short shorts or cheer ‘spanks’, etc) and tap shoes
-Hip Hop C, Hip Hop D, Modern C… black pants and either clean tennis shoes or black jazz shoes
-Ballet D… nude tights or panty hose and ballet shoes
-Modern D… nude convertible or footless tights and bottoms for under the dresses (leotard, short shorts or cheer ‘spanks’, etc)

• Clothing Orders… Please remember that Movement Unlimited clothing orders are due back by Wednesday, November 30. Orders will be in before Christmas break.

Announcements: Upcoming Events

1. Parent Watch Week is scheduled for Monday, Nov 7 through Friday, Nov 11. Parents/guardians are invited to come view classes throughout this week. We ask that only two visitors per dancer attend class in the interest of space and seating.

2. 2nd Annual Food Drive--> Our 2nd Annual Food Drive will take place from Monday, Nov. 7 through Tuesday, Nov. 22. We are collecting non-perishable items that will go to the Food Pantry at Center for Family Services. The food is then distributed to local food pantries throughout Crawford County to help those in need. For every two items donated, dancers will have their name entered into a drawing for clothing items, Nutcracker tickets and/or gift certificates to be used for dance classes. We hope you'll join our efforts to help those in need this holiday season.

3. We will be offering "spirit clothing" for order again this year. Order forms will be coming out later this week (Nov 7-11) and will be due back by Wed. Nov 30. Orders typically take about 2 weeks to be prepared, so this will allow us plenty of time to have them back before our break, in case they are intended for holiday gifts! Check out samples at the studio to see quality and sizing. See Miss Heather with any questions.
